Hello - still no Sunchaser I see! I recently had a beer in the Black Country Arms in Walsall called JAZZ. I think this might go down well with some of your regulars. See below a link to my photograph of the badge for this fine golden wheat beer. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bluejazzbuddha/6862681347/in/photostream

What a great pub, always great beers and today my locals were there...so far from home. Would love to have tried them but XT8 did it for me. Keep up the good work in beers!

Visited yesterday to enjoy the ales on offer at the January beer festival. As always was very impressed with the range of beers on offer. The Wellington always has plenty to choose from and myself and my husband will be back today to sample some more ales.

Once again it's time for the German Christmas market where those outside try to compete with those inside for a whole four weeks ....

I am a regular visitor to the Welly and I have converted many of my work colleagues, who now appreciate the merits of such a fine pub. Every time I go with friends from work they always say "start in the Welly and then move on" To date we have never managed to "move on" Many thanks and keep up the good work.

Only a quick visit on friday, but I`m sure I`ll get 2/3 pints down me!! Hope to be there with my mate Bruar Strachan, who lives in Erdington also. Cheers Up the welly!! Dean Sadler |

Hi all - I had a heck of a session in the Welly last night which I hope I'll recover from. Damn that Hobsons Twisted Spire! It's not very strong... unless you drink a gallon of it. Anway, this is interesting: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2037591/25-year-pub-crawl-Ale-experts-say-surge-beer-production-means-5-500-different-pints-market.html See you later luvs. - John PS the Daily Wail owns the free Metro paper, which is where I read this to start with.
